Purpose Of Moderators And Rules
We want to promote a clean,respectful, and constructive enviroment where members are not afraid to ask questions, participate in discussions, and share information. The rules and the moderators are here to help promote that kind of enviroment.
Member Behavior
There are going to be topics and discussions that will have heated debates. Please think before you post and re-read what you type before you post it. Keep your comments limited to the debate at hand and not make this a personal issue between you and another reader. There is tremendous diversity in age, race, gender, education, location and more here and there will be a lot of varying opinions on different subjects. We're all human beings and we we're all drawn to this site because we have a common bond
Members should interact respectively,pleasantly, and contructively with one another, and if they cannot do so, they should not post on this board. We ask that if anybody tries and incite you, that you ignore it until it can be deleted or dealt with.
If you have a gripe, try to make it constructive and objective.
Personal And Departmental Attacks
Attacks, Bashing,Name Calling Or Any Type Of Negative Comments Or Activity Towards Any Person Or Department Will Not Be Tolerated
No flaming of other members to incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument. ANY personal attacks or name calling will get you banned.
If you don't like an agency or person, this WILL NOT be the board to take up those issues. Period.

Respect the privacy of other members and individuals. Do not post personal information about them (such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, etc.) Any member found to be doing such will have their account immedietely deleted.

Any member making a large amount of posts within a short amount of time is considered spamming.Uneccesary posts will be removed. Any member found to be spamming to increase their post counts will have their post counts lowered.Please use discretion when posting, and makje sure your replys are worthwhile. Replying to every topic distracts from other members posts.
In addition, any member found to be dragging up a large number of old topics in a short period of time after warning will have their posting privledges removed.
Username Changes
Username changes are permitted for valid reasons. Email EMTBravo to request a username change
Solicitation
Any person, especially a newly-registered member, posting on this site another website similar to this one, and/or soliciting for photos and similar type content, without the express written consent of the administrator, will have their posts removed and posting privledges revoked. This includes solicitation via the private message system.
Commercial Solicitation
No commercial solicitation of any type without express written consent of the board administrator is permitted. If any member is found to be using the PM system to solicit, please notify the administrator. We have the option of disabling that members ability to send PM's. This includes solicitation of members for their content posted here to be used elsewhere in a commercial form.

When someone passes away in the emergency services line, the news often spreads quite fast. Since what's posted on this forum is seen quickly by a wide audience, we ask that members refrain from posting a death that has just occured, or inquiring about a death that has just occured. Sometimes, families aren't notified yet, the proper and respectful channels have not been followed, and accurate information may not be available yet or the family may wish to keep the details private.
We realize that members are anxious to express their condolences. However, we ask that members withhold posting information about a death until it becomes general and open information to all, unless it is posted by an official source, such as a departmental source such as a chief or family member. At the right time where it becomes general information, then a proper condolence and information thread may be started by any member wishing to do so.
